Job Description

As the Product Engineering Head (Design) at Unique Connections in Bangalore, your role will involve overseeing Vendor Development, Product Engineering, and New Product Development processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Vendor Development:** - Guide to identify the vendors for Finished cable & Raw Materials. - Conduct Vendor Technical Assessment. - Determine vendor capabilities. - Evaluate vendor products & processes. - Execute Trial orders. - Standardize vendors. - **Product Engineering:** - Design special products. - Analyze products and develop new features. - Assist in preparing cable data sheets. - Determine costing for special products. - Offer special products to the sales team. - Provide technical support to the sales team. - **New Product Development:** - Develop new products based on Market Research. - Enhance Existing Products based on Market Requirements. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor or Masters in Chemical Technology or Polymer Technology. **Experience:** - At least 15+ years of experience, especially in Cable design. **Knowledge & Skills:** - Strong knowledge of Cable design. - Excellent communication & presentation skills. - Demonstrated leadership and team skills.
