Job Description
About the Role
We are seeking Annotation Specialists skilled in Skeleton Keypoint Placement and Bounding Box Video Annotation. The role involves working on complex video datasets where precision and consistency are key to building high-quality AI and Computer Vision models.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately place skeleton keypoints (e.g., 17-point COCO or project-specific schemas).
- Maintain consistent joint alignment across frames, even under motion blur or occlusion.
- Draw tight, smooth, and consistent bounding boxes across video sequences.
- Handle scale variations, perspective shifts, and partially visible subjects.
- Perform frame-by-frame labeling using interpolation or propagation effectively.
- Detect and correct annotation drift across long video segments.
- Balance speed with high-quality output in complex or large datasets.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent attention to detail and labeling accuracy.
- Strong spatial understanding of posture, limb movement, and motion paths.
- Analytical ability to handle ambiguous cases (e.g., hidden joints, overlaps).
- Consistent application of labeling guidelines across frames and sequences.
- Familiarity with annotation quality metrics such as IoU and PCK.
- Ability to self-review and ensure annotation quality before submission.
Preferred Background (Optional)
- Knowledge of human or animal anatomy.
- Experience with pose estimation datasets like COCO or MPII.
- Exposure to projects in sports, gesture tracking, or action recognition.
- Familiarity with V7 Darwin or similar annotation platforms.
