The Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Operator- Customer Service, assigned to one of Pinkertons largest global clients, will be responsible for utilizing best practices to identify, analyze, and support all incidents that are either impactful or potentially impactful to the people, assets, and reputation of the client. The Operator monitors multiple streams of security information, including emails, phone calls, alarms, camera systems, and other access control technologies. This role assists corporate employees, vendors, and visitors, by way of written correspondence, with concerns that pertain to safety and security around the globe.

- Handle time-sensitive email correspondence for security and safety matters
- Process and document site-specific issues and incidents
- Manage confidential information with utmost discretion
- Triage and escalate urgent security and safety concerns
- Support global customers across different time zones
- Create clear, detailed documentation for incident tracking
- All other duties, as assigned.
Associate degree (Bachelors preferred) in international affairs/relations, business, emergency management, political science, criminal justice, or related discipline or at least two years of equivalent work experience in customer service, contact centers, or corporate security.
- Proficient English written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to maintain a high level of professionalism and approachability.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced, and at times, stressful work environment.
- Effective team player.
- Customer service mindset with problem-solving abilities
- Capability to remain calm and focused during urgent situations
- Computer skills; Microsoft Windows and Office.
Working Conditions:
With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions;
- Regular computer usage.
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
- Frequent sitting.
- Flexibility to work a variety of different shifts, and willingness to assist the team with overtime when needed.
- Travel, as required.
