Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for Sr. Engineer with expertise on Siemens automation technologies and software's Position : Sr. Engineer Qualification: B. Tech/B.E (ECE/EEE/EIE) Experience : 8+ years
Communication: Good English communication and writing skills, B2 level German language is advantage
Good to have: International Driving license.
Industry type: Life sciences, Energy, F&B, Pharma
Industry Standards: ANSI/IEEE standards for Software unit testing SIL2/SIL3 ANSI/ISA88 ANSI/ISA 95 21CFR P11 Life sciences compliances
What you should have:
Good experience in Siemens PCS7 with various industry libraries as per Industry standards mentioned above.
Good experience in Siemens TIA Portal version 15 and above, with detail application engineering proficiency
Must be able to Program using STL/SCL, AWL
Must have better knowledge on P&ID drawings, IO List, Functional descriptions, DDS.
Develop PLC & SCADA solutions or code from scratch.
Must have FAT/SAT & commissioning experience on site.
Build module and instances-based PLC & SCADA program for process models.
What you will do:
Attend project design kick-off meetings.
Participate in project review meetings, support lead engineer with updates and status of assigned works.
Go through process P&ID, Equipment list, MCC & IO panel drawings make Data inputs for project.
Develop/design PLC, SCADA, DCS software program and applications. Participate in client work progress review meetings weekly/bi-weekly/monthly basis.
Assist field technicians or work on your own for filed wiring connections with IO panel, MCC, & instruments
Test IO panels, MCC and VFD panels at site/vendor locations Develop/Modify program in PCS7, TIA portal for Process area as per P&ID
Develop new/ Modify SCADA/HMI as per process P&ID in TIA Portal, Stp7, PCS7 & WinCC SCADA FAT/SAT/Commission the automation software package as per project PO
Hand over system to client after successful commissioning and total software optimization up to client satisfaction.
Take Schedules from Client on day-to-day activities.
Report to Automation Manager on day-to-day activities and overall project status. Follow time sheets, Weekly project reports, MOM's etc project specific documents.
Traveling to client locations as on when required based on project timelines.
Should be able to travel with short notice of 1 week if necessary.
Traveling 60% of the time in a business year.

Siemens TIA Portal version 15/16
Siemens Safety programming library
Siemens PCS7 v8.0 and above
Wincc professional/flexible/explorer
Experience on PLC/Robot/Motion control Hardware:
Siemens S7 400/400H/400HF
Siemens S7 1500/1500H
Siemens Fail-safe automation
Experience on Networks & Protocols:
Profibus DP/MPI/PA/Link
Profinet/Ethernet TCP/IP
Modbus, Modbus TCP
Ethernet/IP
ASI
