Job Description

    As a member of the Smart Infrastructure Division at Siemens Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable transmission and distribution of electrical power. Your responsibilities will include: - Ensuring that the production of manufacturing products starts and finishes within budget and on time. - Ensuring all products meet the required quality standards as specified. - Preparing the monthly production plan to meet customer demands/targets. - Managing the smooth and efficient manufacturing of products. - Collaborating with management to understand objectives and requirements. - Dividing responsibilities and tasks across the team to make production more efficient. - Resolving any problems that occur during assembly & testing of products. - Preparing budgets and cost reports for new products for series production. - Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. - Reporting to upper management on production status at regular intervals. - Handling material management (Stores In & Out). - Maintaining quality documents & records. - Training new joiners on products and processes. - Monitoring the zero harm culture in the production department. - Working closely with finance and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of half-yearly and yearly stock counts. Desired Skills: - 10+ years of overall experience. - Bachelors degree/Diploma in electrical/mechanical/production engineering. - Effective management of the dispatch team to guarantee timely delivery of all consignments. - Good interpersonal and communication skills. - Creation and closing of production orders in SAP. - Tracking of material shortages through SAP. - Inventory planning & monitoring.
