Job Description
Introduction & Summary:The IBM ELM Plugin Developer is a key role focused on enhancing IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM) through plugin development
Ideal candidates will have a strong background in Rational Team Concert (RTC) plugin creation and RESTful API integration
Proficiency in scripting with Python is advantageous, along with a solid grasp of version control systems like Git
The role necessitates familiarity with various project management methodologies, including SCRUM, Waterfall, and SAFe, Main Responsibilities:
The main duties of this position involve the design and implementation of software plugins, as well as ensuring seamless integration with existing systems
Responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining plugins for Rational Team Concert (RTC), Designing and consuming RESTful APIs, Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product functionality, Utilizing Git for version control in development processes, Engaging in Agile practices and methodologies, Assisting in troubleshooting and bug fixing of existing plugins, Documenting development processes and workflows, Key Requirements:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following skills and qualifications:
Knowledge in developing plugins for Rational Team Concert (RTC), Experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs, Proficiency in Python for scripting and application development (Good to have), Familiarity with version control systems based on Git, In-depth understanding of Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC), Knowledge in IBM ELM, Basic understanding of SCRUM, Waterfall, and SAFe methodologies, Nice to Have:
