About the Role
We re looking for a Product Designer (D4), the equivalent of a Lead IC, to join our Product Design & Research team. In this role, you ll lead design for our Analytics product line, driving vision, shaping user experiences, and solving complex challenges that help customers make confident, data-informed decisions.
You ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, intuitive experiences for both end users and content creators. While this is an expert IC role (not a manager role), you ll have high ownership and influence across the design and product org.
What You ll Do
- Partner with your Design Lead and cross-functional peers to align Analytics design strategy with product and business goals
- Lead design efforts across the full product lifecycle,from discovery to delivery,for end-user and authoring experiences
- Shape a unified, cohesive vision for Whatfix Analytics with a focus on simplicity, usability, and quality
- Translate complex workflows into intuitive, human-centered solutions
- Champion design craft producing high-quality concepts, prototypes, and final specs that meet our standards of excellence
- Balance executional ownership with strategic thinking, including helping embed AI meaningfully into the Analytics experience
- Collaborate deeply with Product Management, Engineering, and Research to ensure insights drive outcomes
- Contribute to cross-team initiatives that ensure consistency and cohesion across our platform
- Design analytics interfaces that help users optimize tool adoption, reduce friction, and improve employee enablement
What We re Looking For
- ~6 years of experience designing for enterprise SaaS or B2B products
- Strong portfolio showcasing your end-to-end design process, shipped work, and contributions as a lead designer
- Systems thinker who can simplify complex user journeys across varied personas
- Craft and detail orientation that results in polished, scalable, and intuitive solutions
- Collaborative mindset: you thrive in cross-functional environments and proactively break down silos
- Fluent in human-centered design methods, from discovery and synthesis to prototyping and validation
- Proactive communicator who brings clarity, energy, and a bias for action
- Bonus: Experience designing for analytics, data visualization, or AI-powered systems
