Job Description
Position: ETL Developer + Reporting Role 1 PositionYears of Experience: 5 to 9 years
Work Mode / Shift Timing: Normal Shift (9:00 AM 6:00 PM)
Introduction & Summary: We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with a solid background in data warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) to join our hybrid team
The ideal candidate will possess at least 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL processes, reporting, and data modeling, with strong skills in ETL tools, particularly IBM Datastage, as well as Power BI and SQL querying
This role demands excellent analytical skills and the capability to transform data into meaningful insights, Main Responsibilities:
As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for the following:
Design and implement complex ETL processes using Datastage, Develop and optimize SQL queries for reporting and data manipulation, Create and manage Power BI dashboards and reports, Conduct data analysis and ensure the accuracy of data reporting, Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions, Perform troubleshooting and resolve complex reporting issues, Monitor and manage ETL job schedules, Provide unit testing for ETL processes and reports, Key Requirements:
5+ years of experience in Data warehousing and Business Intelligence, Proficiency in IBM Datastage 11
7 and SQL-PLSQL, Working knowledge of Oracle and PostGRE databases, Hands-on experience with Unix shell scripting, Strong skills in writing and tuning SQL queries, Experience in data model development and reporting using Power BI, Ability to conduct performance optimization for reports and queries, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Understanding of RDBMS principles and data modeling techniques, Nice to Have:
Experience with SAP BOBI 4
3 Tools (UDT, IDT, WEB Intelligence), Knowledge of report development in Web Intelligence, Experience in universe management using UDT and IDT, Experience in report universe conversion, Functional knowledge in Finance/Banking, specifically in asset finance, equipment finance, or leasing, Other Details:
This is a hybrid position offering a normal work shift from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to work both remotely and on-site
The role is expected to last for an indefinite term, focusing primarily on the finance and banking sector,
