Member Software Engineer ( Power BI Developer ) @ CoStrategix

Job Description

As a Member Visualization Engineer, this role will be responsible for understanding the business requirements and creating Reports & Dashboards using Microsoft Power BI

• Participate and attend daily scrum calls and other project meetings
• Understand business requirements and actively participate and clarify requirements with the client
• Understand the underlying data, data model and flow of data
• Build complex reports and dashboards using Power BI
• Work on advanced integration modules with the BI tools
• Should be able to implement modules that has security and authorization frameworks in Power BI
• Continuous learning and acquiring new skills and knowledge on different BI tools
• Should act as an SME on Power BI and participate in technical discussions and suggestions with the client

• Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Power BI
• Hands-on experience in writing and optimizing DAX queries for Power BI
• Expert level knowledge of SQL
• Should know at least one programming language(Python)
• Should be able to analyze and understand data
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure will be an advantage
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform / Microsoft Fabric / Synapse will be an advantage
• Knowledge of DB/DW is a must
• Excellent interpersonal/communication skills (both oral/written) with the ability to communicate at various
• levels with clarity & precision
• Solid influencing skills and demonstrates leadership; motivating and encouraging others to get results

• Bachelor or Masters Degree in computer science or engineering
• Around 4+ years of experience & at least 2 years of software development experience on Microsoft Power BI and writing DAX queries
• Experience in leading discussions on Power BI directly with the client
• Certification on Power BI or Power Platform is an advantage
