Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about visual storytelling and can transform raw footage into compelling, high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and goals. You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce videos for various platforms including social media, websites, presentations, and advertising campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a polished final product.
- Trim footage segments, insert music, dialogue, graphics, and effects.
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to understand project scope and objectives.
- Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of video.
- Input sound, dialogue, music, graphics, and effects to enhance footage.
- Stay up to date with new editing technologies and industry trends to continuously improve output quality.
- Manage and organize media assets for future use.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and storytelling standards.
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of motion graphics and audio editing.
- Strong creative and storytelling skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices for video content.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with color correction and grading.
- Basic knowledge of animation or graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with cameras and filming equipment.
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing relevant work.
