Full Stack Developer (React - Go) @ Sas Research

Job Description

We are seeking a full-stack engineer proficient in React for front-end and Go (Golang) for backend, to design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications. The role involves working across the full software stack: UI/UX, APIs, database, and infrastructure. This person will collaborate closely with product, design, QA, and operations teams, ensuring scalable, secure, and maintainable software solutions.

• Design, build, and maintain backend services written in Go, including RESTful APIs, microservices, or event-driven architectures.
• Develop responsive and intuitive front-end applications/single-page applications (SPAs) using React (and optionally TypeScript), managing state, components, routing, etc.
• Integrate front-end with backend services; define and maintain API contracts.
• Work with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases; design schemas, optimize queries, ensure data integrity and performance.
• Ensure code quality through good architectural design, modularization, test coverage (unit, integration), code reviews.
• Maintain and improve performance, scalability, and reliability of the system. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.
• Participate in DevOps / infrastructure tasks as needed: containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), CI/CD pipelines, deployment.
• Ensure security best-practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, data handling, etc.).
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues, monitor services, and maintain logging/observability.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, product managers, QA, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor/junior developers (if senior level), share best practices, contribute to improving team processes and development standards.
