The Product Strategy team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to drive SAS enterprise software platform product strategy with a focus on SAS large customer base on SAS Viya 3 platform.

In this key role, you will lead and support SAS global customers on SAS Viya 3 platform evaluating, prioritizing and aligning customer requirements with the future releases of SAS Viya and towards SAS vision of being the most trustworthy analytics partner on the planet.

As the product management lead for this platform, you will play a strategic global role, partnering with software engineering, customer support, and enablement teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You will communicate product functionality and knowledge to internal constituents and promote the benefits of SAS solutions to customers, partners, and community members. You will own and communicate the knowledge on SAS latest development across platform products with customers and will work closely with customer advisory teams to develop and champion modernization paths for SAS customers as they move to the latest version of the SAS Viya ecosystem.

As a Product Manager, you will:

• Define and prioritize product requirements based on business drivers, customer inputs, market direction, and field contribution.

• Translate business requirements into technical, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Define user personas and write use cases.
• Drive product development and collaborate with software development teams.
• Present product vision, roadmap, and software demonstrations to internal constituents, customers, and others.
• Identify new markets and evaluate emerging technology and business issues that may present opportunities or threats to the company.
• Identify opportunities and develop business plans including recommended actions for emerging technology and business issues that present opportunities or threats to SAS.
• Develop and document strategic pathways for customers to modernize their SAS software environment.
• Collaboration with SAS Managed Services teams to ensure SAS hosted customers continue to get value from their SAS investments in SAS Viya 3.

• Comfortable communicating with people in public forums to deliver presentations, demos, workshops, webinars, videos, and other technical content.
• Ability to innovate and define creative solutions with compelling user experiences that exceed customer expectations.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, or related functions in the technology industry
• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• An equivalent combination of related education, training, and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
• Experience with SAS technology (SAS Viya) and solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end user workflows for data, analytics, and AI.
• Experience building or delivering technical solutions to solve customer problems.

• A self-starter with a bias toward action and the know-how to balance getting details right while still moving fast
