Job Description
Responsibilities- Implement reporting solutions within the data warehouse
- Design report solutions that align with data management principles, policies, standards, and best practices
- Support scheduled reporting cycles (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Develop and adhere to documentation standards, development lifecycle tasks, and status reporting requirements
- Deliver high-quality solutions using technical design documents, specifications, proactive testing, and ongoing quality monitoring
- Work under the direction of the Manager to provide technical application solutions for assigned business areas
- Identify root causes of defects, prioritize, and resolve them to prevent recurrence
- Maintain technical knowledge of assigned application technologies
- Collaborate with Business Analysts to understand product-specific requirements and translate them into technical design specifications and data flow diagrams
- Code, test, debug, implement, and document programs or technical configurations
- Ensure all programs meet technical specifications and development standards
- Interact with Business Analysts during software build/configuration and testing phases
- Perform technical application configuration and generate/run reports as requested by users
- Design and execute unit, system, and integration test plans for new developments, releases, and reports
- Manage and support team members with reporting services (SSRS) and assist with SSIS functions
- Maintain technical documentation according to standard operating procedures
- Perform routine application maintenance activities
- Provide ongoing production support
- Interface with Business Analysts to resolve support calls escalated by the Service Desk
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements and deliver appropriate solutions
- Automate and optimize reporting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy
- Perform regular audits and validation checks to ensure data integrity and accuracy
