Job Description
Mendix Developer Job Requirements: Certification and Experience-Certification: Minimum Mendix Intermediate Developer certification.-Experience: overall software development experience is 5+ yrs. & Mendix App Development experience is 3+ yrs.Mendix Platform Skills-Platform Understanding: Strong understanding of the Mendix platform and deployment processes.-Application Delivery: Experience in delivering at least two to three Mendix-based applications.-Client Requirements: Ability to understand client requirements and suggest the best solutions within the Mendix framework.Communication and Leadership-Communication Skills: Strong communication skills.-Business understanding: Working with business analysts and other teams to understand business requirements-Scrum Management: Strong understanding of scrum activities and sprint execution process.-Collaboration: Working closely with business stakeholders and other developers in a distributed team.-Task Management & Reporting - Self managed and timely update reports to managementTechnical Expertise-Programming Languages: Extensive experience with Mendix and other programming languages like Java or .NET.-Web Technologies: Knowledge of modern UI technologies such as HTML, CSS, XPath and JavaScript.-UI Development: Ability to suggest and implement complex UI requirements.-Troubleshooting: Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues-Testing - Develop and document test cases, execute and document test results-Integration and API Development-Integration: Experience in working on integrations.-API and Services: Experience with building APIs and Services using REST, SOAP, etc.Data and Domain Knowledge-Data Containers and Widgets: Strong expertise in using all data containers and platform widgets.-Chart Creation: Knowledge of chart creation in Mendix.-Domain Model: Knowledge of relational databases and able to design domain models.-Microflows: In-depth knowledge of microflows, nanoflows. -Security: In-depth understanding of roles and access rules.
