Job Summary: -
We are looking for a skilled **ITOM Developer** with over 5 years of experience, specializing in
ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM)
particularly in **Discovery** and **Service Mapping**.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of infrastructure and application-level mapping, automation, and CMDB best practices to support enterprise-level IT operations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Design, implement, and manage **ServiceNow ITOM** modules including **Discovery** and **Service Mapping**.
* Configure and maintain **CMDB (Configuration Management Database)** to ensure accurate infrastructure data.
* Develop patterns, probes, sensors, and scripts to enhance discovery processes.
* Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ITOM with other ServiceNow modules and external systems.
* Analyze and troubleshoot issues in service mapping and discovery jobs.
* Ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
* Support the automation of IT operations and infrastructure monitoring.
**Required Skills & Qualifications:**
* Minimum **5 years of hands-on experience** with ServiceNow ITOM, especially Discovery & Service Mapping.
* Strong understanding of network protocols, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure), and data center environments.
* Experience in **ServiceNow CMDB**, mid-servers, and credentials management.
* Proficient in JavaScript, XML, and REST/SOAP integrations.
* Familiar with ITIL processes and best practices.
* ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM) are a strong plus.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments.
* Exposure to DevOps, automation, and orchestration tools.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
