Automation Tester - Selenium/Cypress/Appium @ PTC

Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience, your role involves designing and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of software products. You will collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to enhance automation testing processes effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, or similar. - Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or other tools. - Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. - Identify, document, and track bugs and issues through tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. - Perform functional, regression, smoke, API, and performance testing as required. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand system requirements and ensure test coverage. - Improve test automation frameworks and suggest best practices for quality assurance. - Participate in code reviews for test scripts and provide feedback. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 3 to 5 years of experience in automation testing. - Strong hands-on experience with automation frameworks (Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, etc.). - Experience with API testing tools like Postman, REST Assured. - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#. - Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket). - Exposure to CI/CD tools and automated deployment processes.
