Job Description
- As a Management Trainee in Master Data Management at Genpact, you will play a crucial role in providing guidance and expertise in Customer master, vendor master, or product master domains within the SAP MDM process. You will be responsible for overseeing master data objects, ensuring data quality, and maintaining master data integrity across systems. Your role will involve training and mentoring team members, analyzing metrics, and driving continuous improvement in data quality processes. **Key Responsibilities:** - Fully responsible for managing master data objects in materials, sales organization, and pricing domains - Execute day-to-day Master data management activities and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the process - Train and mentor team members to ensure seamless delivery and data quality adherence - Analyze and facilitate resolution of issues related to master data integrity between modules and systems - Develop procedures and business rules for data collection and perform regression testing - Generate and analyze regular reports on data quality key performance indicators - Support fast-track projects by expediting master-data creation and ensure SLAs for lead times and data quality are met - Propose opportunities for improvement of Master Data Quality and ensure consistent data structure within SAP - Lead master data management processes and serve as the principal contact for data quality within the business - Conduct training and onboarding of relevant teams and guide cross-functional teams in data implementation - Analyze metrics of master data to reduce customer data issues and improve data quality - Develop and improve business processes through tools and metrics to enable decision-making - Demonstrate good analytical skills, propose process improvement plans, and aim for quality improvement - Utilize knowledge of SAP ERPs and workflow systems effectively **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelors degree - Strong financial analytical skills and problem-solving abilities - Proven work experience as a Senior Team member, Subject Matter Expert, or Associate Business Analyst - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with clients - Experience in balancing customer-facing roles and work assessments - Self-starter with analytical and problem-solving skills **Preferred Qualifications/Skills:** - Strong macro-level research and analytics approach with proficiency in numbers - Good people and customer handling skills - Strong knowledge of SAP MD & SD module - Effective communication and interpersonal skills This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to the data quality and integrity within the organization, drive process improvements, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data management.
