Job Description

As Vice President (Financial Accounting & Reporting) in Mumbai, Andheri, your main responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of the company's financial reports, adherence to all regulations, and timely submission. Being a Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or possessing a similar professional qualification is preferred. Additionally, having IRDAI (Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India) certification is mandatory for this role. Your key responsibilities include: - Reviewing all financial reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis before submission to regulators, investors, and the board. - Ensuring strict compliance with IRDAI regulations to avoid penalties, errors, or non-compliance issues. - Collaborating with auditors and regulators to provide necessary information as requested. - Exploring efficient methods for report preparation by leveraging automation tools instead of manual processes. - Leading and mentoring the finance team, recruiting talented individuals, and fostering their professional development. - Presenting the company's financial performance metrics (profits, losses, expenses, etc.) in a comprehensible manner to senior management and stakeholders. This role focuses on maintaining financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective communication of financial data within the company and to external stakeholders.,
