Job Description

Design and develop test plans, test cases based upon functional and design specifications
Participate actively in functional, system and regression testing activities
Design, develop and maintain test programs including test tools and automated test suites
Work closely with the development team to analyze, debug and resolve any issues
Participate in product functional reviews, test specifications, documentation review.
Communicate effectively with developers and QA peers and other stakeholders in the organization.
Execute planned testing tasks and provide timely and accurate analysis of findings
Utilize analytical skills in determining the root cause of problems
Demonstrates ability to multi-task and re-prioritize responsibilities based on changing requirements (such as urgent customer problems).
Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
Present innovative ideas and suggestions for the enhancement and improvement of the IDS business
Required Skills
College or University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Information Technology Business Administration or another relevant field is desired
4+ years experience in manual and automation QA testing along with writing test scripts of various test phases like integration, regression, system etc.
Understanding of UI, Cross-browser compatibility, Batch jobs, Message brokers, general web functions and standards
Experience with Web Services testing tools like SOAPUI, POSTMAN (REST, SOAP, etc.) is needed to be successful in this position
Familiarity with SQL/MySQL databases and their declarative query languages
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
Experienced on automation tools.Role Technical Writer
