Job Description
Scope:
The person appointed will be responsible for leading DevOps initiatives, driving CI/CD adoption, and building scalable test automation frameworks. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient delivery pipelines, robust automation coverage, and high-quality software releases across multiple environments. The candidate will also mentor junior engineers, define best practices, and align automation/DevOps strategies with organizational goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across multiple platforms and environments.
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks for web, mobile, API, and backend services.
- Drive infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure seamless integration of testing and deployment.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to support production systems.
- Ensure security best practices are embedded into pipelines and automation processes.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers on DevOps practices, test automation strategies, and troubleshooting.
- Define KPIs for automation coverage, pipeline efficiency, and release quality.
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps, cloud, and automation tools, evaluating their fit for the organization.

Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in DevOps, test automation, or related roles.
- Expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar).
- Strong experience with test automation tools (Selenium, WebDriver, Appium, Robot Framework, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG).
- Hands-on with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
- Experience with monitoring/logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
- A good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Understanding of the operating system drivers is desirable.
