Job Title: QA Technical Lead Automation (Python & Playwright)Experience Required: 34 YearsLocation: PuneJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled QA Technical Lead with 34 years of experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Python and Playwright (with TypeScript), and a strong understanding of modern QA practices, CI/CD pipelines, and test strategy design. This role involves leading automation efforts and collaborating closely with development and product teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated test frameworks using Python and Playwright (TypeScript).
- Define and implement test strategies for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
- Own the quality of deliverables and drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure timely execution and reporting.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and automation frameworks.
- 34 years of experience in QA automation with a strong focus on Python and Playwright (TypeScript).
- Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Familiarity with REST APIs and backend testing.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker).
- Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
- ISTQB or equivalent certification is a plus.
