Job Description
YOURIMPACT:
As a Sr Quality Assurance Engineer for QA you will utilize superior knowledge and experience to perform highly complex product installation, setup, testing , systems analysis, research, maintenance, troubleshooting and other testing and QA activities. You will also play a key role in the development of work teams by providing others with direction and leadership. You will also be involved in cross-team planning activities such as providing status updates and coordinating activities.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:
- As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you should have good knowledge on QA process.
- Development and execution of test plans and scripts
- Collaboration with Development teams, managers, leads and Product management
- Design/Develop/Maintain the Automation Framework
- Perl, python scripting, selenium knowledge
- Setting up infrastructure configurations (Web servers, app servers, DB servers, clusters)
- Collecting data for generating useful metrics and Utilizing metrics for improving plans, execution and tracking
- Risks management and collaborating with required stakeholders at leadership level on planning, risk mitigation/escalation
- Test case/plans management tools
- Collaborate with Product Owner to plan and prioritize tasks for others to support the achievement of team objectives.
- Work across teams and functional roles to ensure interoperability among other products, including training and consultation.
- Provide status updates to stakeholders and escalates issues when necessary.
- Experience on UI Automation tools and build tools
- Experience in Cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, Azure and technologies similar to Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Good to have Linux knowledge
What you will need to succeed
- Strong English communication skills both written and verbal
- Proficient in Test case scenario / test case designing and preparation
- Experience in programming language Java
- Good knowledge on Defect tracking, test life cycle
- Handle testing of the assigned modules independently.
- Hands on experience on Selenium & Rest assured framework
- Strong working experience in testing frameworks like Selenium with Protractor/Cypress
- Experience with Java, Selenium, Powershell, Git, Jenkins(CI/CD),Perl, Python
- Experience with developing REST API
- Setup environments in AWS, GCP, Azure and deployments
