Job Title:
Network Operations Center (NOC) Technician with Customer Support Focus
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused NOC Technician to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems while delivering exceptional support to internal and external customer as service. Also able to provide Technical or Service Desk support to the front end customers.
Key Responsibilities
Role & responsibilities:
Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and systems using NOC tools and dashboards
Respond to alerts and incidents, perform initial diagnostics, and escalate as needed
Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to users via phone, email, and ticketing systems
Document incidents, resolutions, and system changes accurately
Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to resolve complex issues
Maintain uptime and performance standards across all network components
Communicate clearly with customers during outages, updates, and troubleshooting
Participate in on-call rotations and shift coverage as required
Assist in creating and updating knowledge base articles and SOPs
Technical / NOC Skills
Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., DataDog, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix)
Familiarity with routers, switches, and server hardware
Knowledge of NOCs Methods & Procedures
Ability to analyze logs and system metrics to identify issues
Knowledge of ITIL practices and incident management workflows
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Empathetic and patient approach to customer interactions
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities
- Experience with helpdesk or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceDesk)
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Education & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
1-3 years of experience in a NOC or technical support role
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or ITIL are preferred
Note: Looking for the Immediate Joiner only also this position will be Work from Office.
Candidate should be open for Night shifts
