Job Description
YOURIMPACT:
Provide project management and leadership on medium to large scale projects with internal and direct customer impact. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and within agreed upon quality standards. Work closely with cross-functional teams within OpenText and partner with key stakeholders. Must be confident, highly motivated and passionate about delivery and customer satisfaction. Must have strong organization, communication and planning skills. Must have a technical background. Must have extensive experience managing projects with Agile Scrum methodology.
WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:
- Deliver assigned projects to time, budget and agreed quality standards
- Lead teams to ensure project delivery success
- Should be technically hands-on on Java related technologies.
- Should be able to do coding/reviews if needed.
- Should be able to drive innovations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, internal and external
- Ensure appropriate and timely reporting against each project
- Manage communication cross-functionally and escalate promptly as issues arise
- Assist in refining and improving the in-house methodology and delivery processes
- Facilitate regular Steering Committee meetings and present to senior level management
- Take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction during project delivery
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure plans & resources are coordinated, and project deliverables are well defined, scoped and achieved
- Maintain project management documentation including but not limited to project plans, issues, risks, action items, scorecards and project sites.
- Content management domain experience would be plus
What you will need to succeed
- 7+ years of project management experience with an overall experience of 12+ years
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline
