Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead to design, develop, and manage scalable data pipelines and cloud-based solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC, AWS services, and Unix Shell Scripting, with strong communication skills to translate complex business requirements into robust technical implementations. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of end-to-end data pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, IDMC and AWS GLUE.
- Architect and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as IAM, SNS, SQS, Lambda, EMR, Lake Formation, AWS Step Function, Athena, and EC2.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business logic into technical specifications and ensure alignment with data strategy.
- Optimize and automate data workflows using Unix Shell Scripting and AWS orchestration tools.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all stages of the pipeline.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
- Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of production issues.
- Work closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to manage deployments and infrastructure.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering , ETL development , and cloud integration .
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and IICS .
- Proficiency in AWS services: Lambda, EMR, Glue, Athena, EC2 .
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments and Shell Scripting .
- Experience working with various file formats including Mainframes, Json and Parquet files.
- Hands on experience working in scheduling tools like IBM Workload Scheduler (IWA) or Tidal workload automation.
- Broad technical knowledge in database (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with SQL , Python , or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in agile environments and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Data Analytics).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with data lake architectures and big data technologies.
