Employment Type: Full-Time
We are looking for a skilled and responsible Phlebotomist to join our team. The role primarily involves visiting patients at their homes to collect blood samples safely and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling, handling, and timely delivery to the laboratory. The ideal candidate should be dependable, customer-oriented, and capable of maintaining professional conduct while interacting with patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit patients homes for blood sample collection as per scheduled appointments.
- Verify patient identity and explain the procedure to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Collect blood samples using standard phlebotomy techniques with strict adherence to safety and hygiene protocols.
- Label and store collected samples properly to avoid mix-ups or contamination.
- Transport samples securely to the designated laboratory within specified timelines.
- Maintain accurate records of collections, patient interactions, and reports.
- Ensure proper sanitization of equipment and maintain stock of collection kits.
- Handle patients with care, including elderly or pediatric patients.
- Provide high-quality service while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Requirements:
- Qualification: Diploma / Certification in Phlebotomy, Medical Laboratory Technology, or relevant field.
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience in blood sample collection preferred.
- Skills:
- Strong phlebotomy and venipuncture skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of infection control and biomedical waste disposal.
- Other Requirements:
- Must own a two-wheeler/vehicle with valid driving license.
- Only male candidates preferred for this role.
- Willingness to travel extensively within assigned areas.
