Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Civil/Landscape Specialist to review site, civil, and landscape drawings for errors, omissions, and inconsistencies. This role ensures accuracy, constructability, and coordination of site grading, utilities, paving, planting, and related systems with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing disciplines before permitting, bidding, or construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review civil and landscape drawings (grading, drainage, utilities, paving, planting, irrigation, site details) for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify and document errors, conflicts, and constructability issues.
- Cross-check drawings against architectural, structural, and MEP plans for coordination issues.
- Provide clear comments and markups.
- Support quality-control checklist development and internal review standards.
- Collaborate with product teams to reflect civil/landscape insights in AI tools.
- Offer feedback for AI model improvements based on QA findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field (Masters preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in civil/landscape design review, construction administration, or QA.
- Strong ability to interpret civil engineering, grading, drainage, planting, and irrigation plans.
- Experience with large-scale projects (high-rises, hospitals, stadiums).
- Understanding of construction management and constructability issues.
- Detail-oriented with analytical skills to improve AI training data.
- Proficient with Bluebeam; familiarity with Civil 3D, AutoCAD, Land F/X, GIS is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in peer review/design for civil or landscape systems.
- Knowledge of common RFIs and change orders related to site and landscape design.
- Familiarity with North American building standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Salary: 30% Hike on your last CTC (Can be negotiable)
Shift:
- Rotational Shifts / Night Shift
- Rotational Week Offs / 5-day Work Week
