- Role Overview: As a Principal Consultant, Lead Cloud Engineer at Genpact, you will have the exciting opportunity to rebuild a new infrastructure using state-of-the-art technologies in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Your role will involve making sound architectural decisions quickly and seeing the impact of your work across the business. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure that enables Clicks digital therapeutics offerings. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and document Cloud System (AWS). - Architect and implement cloud solutions that align with business needs. - Evaluate and identify optimal cloud solutions for various projects. - Manage cloud deployment, migration, and monitoring processes. - Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to refine and communicate requirements. - Enhance overall product quality and usability iteratively. - Mentor new and junior engineers. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services. Qualifications Required: Minimum Qualifications / Skills: - Experience in building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud systems, particularly on AWS. - Proficiency in evaluating and identifying optimal cloud solutions. - Ability to architect cloud solutions, modify and enhance existing systems, and manage cloud deployment, migration, and monitoring. - Proficiency in programming languages such as Typescript, Python, C/C++, Java. - Experience in leading production quality software projects. - Ability to make thoughtful engineering trade-offs to meet business timelines. - Operational experience with Kubernetes (e.g., AWS EKS Fargate). - Familiarity with AWS services like EC2, S3, Application Load Balancer, RDS/PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Code Pipeline/Code Build, IAM, and CloudFormation. Preferred Qualifications / Skills: - Certified AWS Certification. - DevOps experience. - Familiarity with distributed system algorithms such as leader selection and consensus. - Experience with gRPC and envoy-based service mesh.
