Job Description
Title: Technical lead / Technical Specialist - Snowflake - Data Build Tool (DBT)
Exp: 5 +
Location: Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Chennai
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement scalable data architectures that effectively support enterprise-wide product and analytics requirements.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to improve the scalability of the data platform while minimizing operational costs.
- Design and build resilient data integration pipelines utilizing Data Build Tool (DBT) alongside other data pipeline technologies.
- Employ advanced SQL techniques to manipulate and transform large datasets in alignment with business goal
- Lead the design and upkeep of data models that empower analytics initiatives and align with organizational objectives.
- Spearhead DataOps (CI/CD) practices and manage orchestration of data pipeline workflows to ensure smooth and efficient data processing.
- Partner with diverse stakeholdersincluding technical teams, subject matter experts, and business usersto gather requirements and deliver tailored data solutions.
- Clearly convey architectural strategies and the ramifications of technical decisions to broad, cross-functional audiences.
- Own challenges end-to-end, proactively drive problem resolution, and ensure delivery of effective solutions.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in cloud-based data architecture and analytics environments.
- Strong proficiency in Snowflake, SQL, and DBT.
- Extensive hands-on experience crafting data integration solutions with DBT and complementary data pipeline tools.
- Demonstrated expertise in ensuring data quality, conducting data profiling, and evaluating new data sources.
- Solid background in data modeling with a focus on delivering analytics aligned to business needs.
- Practical experience with DataOps principles (CI/CD) and orchestrating complex data pipeline jobs.
- Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate architectural concepts and technical decisions effectively.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving skills and ownership mentality.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in healthcare or retail sectors.
- Experience working with real-time data ingestion pipelines.
- Familiarity with tools like FiveTran and Ataccama for data quality, observability, and Master Data Management.
