Job Title: Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Location: Remote (occasional travel for team meetings)

Experience Required: 5+ Years

Domain: Release Engineering / SRE / DevOps

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems. The role requires strong expertise in automated deployments, monitoring/observability, cloud infrastructure, and incident management. The ideal candidate will collaborate across engineering, QA, and operations teams to streamline the software delivery lifecycle, improve resilience, and drive continuous improvements in reliability engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement predictable, automated software deployment strategies across environments.
• Build and maintain monitoring & observability infrastructure (logging, metrics, alerting).
• Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and KPIs for service reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to optimize SDLC & deployment pipelines.
• Drive automation for incident response, deployments, and reliability improvements.
• Stay updated on SRE/DevOps best practices and emerging trends.
• Participate in on-call rotations for incident management.
• Work with messaging/event bus queues to ensure efficient message processing.
• Monitor and optimize SQL & NoSQL database performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure reliability and operational efficiency.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP (deployment, monitoring services).
• Deployment & Automation: Strong experience with CI/CD, automated release pipelines.
• Observability Tools: Logging, metrics, alerting (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, Grafana, etc.).
• Messaging Systems: Event bus & queue management.
• Databases: SQL & NoSQL performance monitoring/tuning.
• Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Groovy (automation and tooling).
• Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and system optimization skills.
• Excellent communication & cross-functional collaboration abilities.
