Job Title: Payments System Systems Engineer
Experience Required: 68 Years
Domain: Real-Time Payments / Payment Systems
Role Overview -We are seeking a Payments System Systems Engineer to design, implement, and support complex real-time payment solutions. The role involves maintaining ACI payment platforms, ensuring high system availability, optimizing performance, and troubleshooting end-to-end payment processing. This position requires hands-on expertise in Base24-eps, ACI-Issuer, ACI-Interchange, payment messaging flows, and settlement/reconciliation processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain CMM (ACI-Issuer & ACI-Interchange) and Base24-eps.
- Deploy and test software releases, patches, and application upgrades.
- Monitor, analyze, and fine-tune payment systems for performance optimization.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, payment message flows, and application errors.
- Collaborate with application developers, vendors, infrastructure & QA teams for production support and code migrations.
- Administer system monitoring, capacity planning, and infrastructure documentation.
- Analyze payments data, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
- Support network mandates implementation phases.
- Ensure compliance, system reliability, and high availability of payment platforms.
Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Payment Platforms: ACI Base24-eps, ACI-Issuer, ACI-Interchange, PRM.
- Programming & Scripting: C++, Linux Shell scripting, Cobol, Base24-eps scripting.
- Databases: PostgreSQL (SQL expertise).
- Systems Knowledge: Installation, support, system monitoring, capacity management.
- Payments Domain Expertise: Visa, MasterCard, Fiserv, Discover transaction processing (single & dual message).
- Security & Compliance: Key Management, TSS.
- Strong debugging, system administration, and technical documentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills for technical and cross-functional stakeholder interaction.
