Devops Engineer @ PwC India

Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in AWS or Azure cloud platforms to design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and cloud deployments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), monitoring, security best practices, and deployment automation in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
  
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
  
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, Bicep, and CloudFormation.
  
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
  
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline code integration and deployment workflows.
  
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud environments and applications using tools like CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or Prometheus.
  
• Ensure system security through IAM, policies, encryption, key management, and security best practices.
  
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and capacity planning.
  
• Assist in cloud migration projects and hybrid-cloud integration strategies.
  
• Keep up-to-date with the latest cloud trends and DevOps practices.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services.
  
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps practices and tools.
  
• Strong expertise with CI/CD pipeline tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.).
  
• Proficient with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation).
  
• Familiar with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS).
  
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
  
• Familiar with monitoring and logging tools.
  
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and cloud cost optimization.
