Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced AMS Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) services for Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM, etc.). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both implementation and managed services, with proven capabilities in client engagement, service delivery governance, and leading functional & technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
1. Service Delivery & Operations
- Own end-to-end delivery of AMS engagements across Oracle Fusion modules.
- Ensure compliance with SLAs, KPIs, and client governance models.
- Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, and problem management.
- Coordinate with Oracle Support for SRs, patches, and quarterly update cycles.
- Oversee regression testing, impact analysis, and release management.
2. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary client contact for AMS delivery.
- Build strong relationships with business users, IT, and leadership teams.
- Conduct monthly/quarterly governance reviews, showcasing SLA adherence, improvements, and risks.
- Align AMS deliverables with evolving client business needs.
3. Team Leadership & Knowledge Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of consultants (functional & technical).
- Drive knowledge retention and documentation within AMS.
- Ensure cross-training across modules to reduce single-point dependency.
- Support the team in handling escalations and critical issues.
4. Continuous Improvement & Value Delivery
- Drive root cause analysis and reduce recurring incidents.
- Lead productivity improvements, automation, and reporting enhancements.
- Work with client leadership to identify optimizations and enhancements.
- Promote innovation and process efficiency in AMS delivery.
5. Governance & Reporting
- Establish AMS governance framework (service catalog, escalation matrix, reporting).
- Provide regular dashboards, MIS reports, and trend analysis.
- Track AMS financials, utilization, and cost optimization initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 1012 years of overall experience, with 6+ years in Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, SCM, PPM, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of AMS delivery models (ticket-based, SLA-driven, capacity-based).
- Experience managing multi-module, multi-country Oracle Fusion AMS projects.
- Hands-on expertise in one or more modules (ERP Finance, Procurement, HCM, SCM).
- Good knowledge of Oracle SR processes, quarterly patching cycles, and regression testing.
- Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in setting up AMS governance, SLA tracking, and reporting frameworks.
- Exposure to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Management).
- PMP / ITIL certification preferred (not mandatory).
