Job Description
Being global presents a new wave of HR priorities and opportunities. CGS's US & Global HR shared services team, based in Hyderabad, leverages research, systems, and analytics to help support and execute critical global HR services for our people in all the countries that we operate in.
Role & responsibilities
As an entry-level HR Data Analyst, you will:
- Work closely with HRIS Managers and HR Operations leaders to understand business needs and translate them into meaningful reports and dashboards.
- Assist in creating data visualizations and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Cognos BI, and Looker.
- Support HR and Recruiting teams by preparing datasets, running data queries, and maintaining data integrity across multiple systems.
- Learn to analyze data flows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist with the testing and review of HR system changes and upgrades.
- Help generate routine and ad-hoc reports to support HR operations and business planning.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and useful information is delivered in a clear and organized format.
Preferred candidate profile
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Expert at MS Excel.
- Proficiency in database management and security, as well as running SQL queries.
- Thorough understanding of qualitative and quantitative reporting principles.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and spoken and written English communication skills.
- Should be working in US Eastern Time Zone.
