Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, particularly ITSM and ITOM modules.
  
• Implement workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and integrations.
  
• Design and develop ServiceNow integrations with third-party tools using REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Server.
  
• Implement Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, and Event Management within ITOM.
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  
• Ensure best practices in coding, configuration, and performance optimization.
  
• Participate in ServiceNow upgrades and patching activities.
  
• Provide technical guidance and support for ServiceNow administration.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4 to 9 years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
  
• Strong expertise in ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Knowledge).
  
• Practical knowledge of ITOM modules (Discovery, CMDB, Service Mapping, Event Management).
  
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, AngularJS, HTML, CSS.
  
• Experience with ServiceNow Integrations (REST/SOAP APIs).
  
• Good understanding of ITIL processes.
  
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

• ServiceNow CSA / CAD / CIS-ITSM / CIS-ITOM certifications.
