Job Description
- As a Senior Software Engineer at CGI, you will have the opportunity to work on building robust and scalable web applications using Vue.js, TypeScript, and GraphQL for dynamic front-end experiences. Your main responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining web applications using Vue.js and TypeScript to ensure responsive and user-friendly interfaces. - Building and integrating GraphQL APIs to facilitate efficient data communication between front-end and back-end services. - Designing and implementing backend services using Java with a focus on performance, scalability, and clean architecture. - Managing and optimizing SQL Server databases by writing queries, stored procedures, and ensuring data integrity. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in agile development processes, and contributing to code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: - Proficiency as a full-stack developer with experience in front-end development using TypeScript and Vue.js. - Strong skills in back-end development using Java, including knowledge of RESTful services and object-oriented programming. - Hands-on experience with SQL Server, including writing complex queries and optimizing database performance. - Familiarity with GraphQL, software development best practices, version control (Git), and agile methodologies. - Problem-solving mindset with the ability to debug, optimize, and deliver high-quality code. - Leadership and mentoring experience for senior roles, guiding technical decisions and aligning development with business goals. - Strong communication skills and the ability to document and present technical solutions.
