Job Description
- As an Image Processing Specialist at the company, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and optimize image processing and computer vision algorithms. You will be working on building AI-driven solutions for tasks like image classification, object detection, segmentation, and enhancement. Collaboration with multi-functional teams will be essential to integrate these algorithms into products or platforms. This is a full-time on-site position based at the office in Infopark, Kochi. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize image processing and computer vision algorithms including filtering, enhancement, object tracking, and segmentation. - Preprocess, annotate, and analyze large image datasets for machine learning model development. - Implement, train, and validate AI models using deep learning, neural networks for tasks like classification, recognition, and image generation. - Collaborate with product, engineering, and data science teams to define requirements and deploy solutions in production. - Continuously research and introduce modern techniques and libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch. - Optimize code for speed and scalability, potentially including GPU acceleration. - Participate in model testing, validation, and troubleshooting. - Maintain thorough documentation of developed algorithms. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field. - Proficiency in Python and/or C++ (MATLAB is a plus). - Experience with computer vision and image processing libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch. - Solid understanding of machine learning and deep learning concepts. - Familiarity with GPU programming, real-time image analysis, and optimization. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. - Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
