Job Description
- In this role, your primary focus will be on stakeholder queries related to sustainability and performance of the organization. You will play a crucial role in building the corporate image through the implementation of a sustainability road map, reporting, and compliance. Your goal is to achieve global recognition in platforms like DJSI and other ESG platforms by creating a world-class non-financial reporting framework which includes ESG data, Integrated Report/Sustainability Report, and policies & practices. Key Responsibilities: - Influence stakeholders, analysts, and investors by providing the right information about the sustainability journey of the organization, considering the diversity of businesses within Grasim standalone and its subsidiaries. - Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to stay updated on industry developments and ensure timely completion of Integrated/Sustainability Report. - Create a framework for ESG reporting, improve data disclosures, and adopt new policies and processes at the company and business level. - Collaborate with the Investor relations team for financial data and ensure timely completion of statutory reporting and publishing the BRSR. - Coordinate with third party assurers for sustainability data assurance as per statutory requirements and ensure smooth assurance process with internal stakeholders. - Responsible for participation in global benchmarking exercises like DJSI and CDP, collaborating with all internal stakeholders to provide necessary data in a timely manner. - Work closely with multiple business functions including Group Sustainability teams, investor relation team, communications team, and CFOs team for external communication and engagement with stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of SEBI framework, CDI guidelines, and ISSB standards for preparing non-financial data related to BRSR. - Knowledge of source of data and related KPIs for BRSR reporting and assurance process. - Ability to create/write content for website sections, investor presentations, and industry bodies recommendations. - Experience in creating Annual Integrated Report, Sustainability Report (SR) and Integrated Report (IR), and drafting letters for senior management. - Familiarity with DJSI & CDP disclosures, engagement with multi-disciplinary teams, and timely response to queries from rating agencies like MSCI and Sustainalytics. - Proven track record in driving sustainability initiatives across businesses and participating in capacity building sessions.
