Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking candidates with either a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience or a Diploma with at least 4 years of experience in SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal, metal fabrication, and welding processes, along with proficiency in SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor part, assembly, and drawings.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor part, assembly, and drawing functionalities.
- Adherence to drawing standard practices, including knowledge of welding symbols and tolerance.
- Understanding of sheet metal design principles, metal fabrication processes, and welding techniques.
- Familiarity with standards materials used in fabrication and their properties.
- Ability to comprehend and convey information accurately through both verbal and email channels.
Skills and competencies
- Proficiency in SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor is a must.
- Thorough understanding of sheet metal design, metal fabrication, and welding processes.
- Knowledge of drawing symbols, including welding and fabrication symbols, and familiarity with title block and custom properties.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks/Autodesk Inventor software for part modeling, assembly, and creating detailed drawings.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and convey project requirements accurately.
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree with 2+ years of experience or Diploma with 4+ years of experience in Autodesk Inventor.
- Client Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Learning attitude and self-confidence.
