About the Role
We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will bring 7-10 years of proven experience in designing and managing scalable CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring solutions, and automation frameworks. You will collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency across our platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability and resilience.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high system availability.
- Collaborate with developers to enable smooth deployments and accelerate delivery cycles.
- Establish and enforce security best practices and compliance standards.
- Automate repetitive/manual tasks to reduce operational overhead.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response to maintain platform reliability.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5-8 years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Strong expertise in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud services.
- Proficiency in IaC tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Strong skills in Linux system administration and scripting (Bash, Python, or Shell).
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, CloudWatch).
- Familiarity with networking, load balancers, DNS, firewalls, and security practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in fast-paced environments.
Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, CKA, Terraform Associate) are a plus.
Nice to Have
- Experience with service mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) or API gateways.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures and event-driven systems.
- Exposure to FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
