Job Description
Job Title: FinOps Associate (Entry Level)
Job Location : Trivandrum , Bangalore
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a FinOps Associate. In this role, you will support the optimization of financial management and cost efficiency across our cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with senior team members to learn how to analyze cloud usage, track costs, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in FinOps practices.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring and tracking cloud usage data to understand cost trends and identify potential savings.
- Support the implementation of financial governance practices to ensure accountability in cloud spending.
- Collaborate with finance, operations, and technical teams to understand budgeting and cost allocation processes.
- Learn and support cost optimization practices such as rightsizing, using reserved/committed instances, and reducing waste.
- Help prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for stakeholders.
- Stay updated on basic cloud pricing models and FinOps principles with guidance from senior practitioners.
- Participate in team discussions and contribute fresh ideas to improve cost management processes.
Key Qualifications & Skills
Recent graduate in B.tech
Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Interest in learning cloud financial management (FinOps).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with Excel, data analysis, or reporting tools is a plus.
Cloud or FinOps certifications (if any) will be an added advantage, but not required
