Presales Snowflake Solution Architect / Cloud Data Architect

Looking for Presales Snowflake Solution Architect / Cloud Data Architect

• Experience: 10 plus years of experience
• Locations: Hybrid Any Accion offices in India pref (Bangalore /Pune/Mumbai)

What we expect from you for this role:

1. To lead the practice as the technical authority and subject matter expert
2. To lead the innovation aligning with new technology trends and create frameworks, reusable assets, accelerators, and solution blueprints that differentiate our offerings.
3. Actively engage in client discussions, lead executive-level presentations, and guide customers through roadmaps, solution architecture, and strategic decision-making.
4. Collaborate with presales and sales teams to shape winning proposals and go-to-market offerings.
5. You need to be an expert in Data (primarily Snowflake but other platform knowledge like AWS, Databricks, and GCP BigQuery are strong plus).

Required skills and experience:
- Led Snowflake-centric data platform modernization for large enterprises; prove value with architectures, POCs, and migration plans.

15+ years in data platforms and data engineering ; 4+ years Snowflake at enterprise scale (multi-region, regulated).

Led at least 2 end-to-end Snowflake modernizations (deployment, architecture, ingestion, ELT, governance, performance, cost).

Deep technical expertise

• Snowflake core: virtual warehouses, multi-cluster, micro-partitioning & pruning, clustering, Time Travel, tasks/streams, dynamic tables, external/iceberg tables, secure data sharing, replication/DR, RBAC/row-/column-level security, masking/tokenization.
• Cost/perf engineering: workload classification, warehouse right-sizing, result cache, resource monitors, query profiling.
• Ingestion/ELT: dbt, Airflow/Dagster, Snowpipe, Kafka/Kinesis/Pub/Sub, CDC (Debezium, HVR, Fivetran/Matillion/Informatica).
• Modeling patterns: medallion/lakehouse, dimensional & Data Vault, data products/mesh.
• Data Governance & lineage: Purview/Collibra/Alation, tags/classification, PII governance; audit/sox controls.
• Analytics, Visualization & BI: Power BI/Looker/Tableau; semantic layers; APIs.
• Good understanding of AWS Redshift, GCP, BigQuery; Python & notebooks; MLOps pipelines, Google Vertex, Amazon Bedrock, AWS Glue etc.
• Certifications (strongly preferred) SnowPro Core + at least one Advanced (Architect or Data Engineer), AWS Data Analytics Specialty or GCP Professional Data Engineer, Databricks Lakehouse/Apache Spark, dbt.

Please note these are Presales and Practice building roles and not just delivery. Following soft skills are must for these roles -

• Executive-ready communication, storytelling & whiteboarding;
• Build repeatable accelerators and internal enablement content.
• Working with existing clients account team and sales team to create GTM and help build sales pipeline
• Sharp proposal/SOW writing.
• Strong competitive positioning and objection handling.
