Job Description
Oversee and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, including DPDP, ISO27K, SEBI, RBI and others.
Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the organization's security posture.
Develop and maintain security compliance policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments to identify and prioritize potential vulnerabilities or threats to information security.
Stay up-to-date on industry security standards, frameworks, and best practices such as NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.
Develop and implement controls to ensure alignment with these standards.
Provide training and awareness programs for employees to ensure they understand compliance requirements and follow security best practices.
Coordinate the response to security incidents, ensuring that the organization follows the appropriate protocols.
Develop and regularly update security and compliance policies, ensuring they reflect current legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
Collaborate with legal teams to ensure policies and practices align with legal standards and industry requirements.
Prepare reports for senior management on compliance status, audit results, and recommended improvements.
Manage external audits and assessments by third parties.
Bachelors degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (Masters degree preferred).
Proven experience in information security, risk management, and compliance, with knowledge of regulatory frameworks and industry standards.
Strong understanding of security technologies, risk management practices, and legal requirements.
Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
