This is not a design system only role. You ll work on real features that impact users, and at the same time, ensure that the underlying system (our components, patterns, and guidelines) empowers the entire team to move faster and design better. If you enjoy creating user-friendly products and also care about the structure that holds great design together, this role is for you.
What youll be responsible for:
- Designing user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI across web and mobile.
- Supporting the implementation and evolution of our design system, including components, tokens, patterns, and documentation.
- Collaborating with senior designers to identify opportunities for new patterns and reusable components.
- Conducting audits of the UI to resolve inconsistencies and raise design quality across products and geographies.
- Helping maintain Figma libraries ensuring assets are organized, documented, and easy for the team to use.
- Working closely with front-end engineers to improve design-to-development handoff and ensure consistency between design and code.
- Advocating for accessibility and inclusive design so our products are usable by everyone.
- Contributing to team culture by sharing knowledge, reviewing work, and driving improvements in our design practices.
What youll bring to Maropost:
- Has 3 5 years of experience in UX/UI or product design, with at least 1 2 years contributing to design systems (mandatory).
- Shows a portfolio that demonstrates systematic design thinking as well as strong product design craft.
- Is proficient in Figma (components, auto-layout, variables, libraries) and curious about exploring new tools.
- Understands atomic design, design tokens, and governance models, and is eager to deepen this knowledge.
- Has a solid grounding in visual and interaction design craft, with an eye for detail and consistency.
- Understands UI conventions across responsive web and native mobile platforms, and is curious about performance and optimization.
- Values collaboration and communication, with the ability to explain design decisions clearly to both design and non-design audiences.
- Has a growing awareness of accessibility standards (WCAG) and modular design that can scale across geographies and languages.
