Job Description
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide strategic direction and mentorship to a team of SEO specialists, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO campaigns across multiple digital channels to drive organic traffic and enhance search engine rankings.
- Continuously optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness based on performance metrics and industry trends.
- Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify high-value keywords and phrases for targeted optimization efforts.
- Utilize keyword data and insights to inform content creation, website optimization, and campaign strategies.
- Lead efforts to optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, and content, to improve search engine visibility and user experience.
- Develop and implement content strategies aligned with SEO objectives, ensuring relevance, quality, and engagement.
- Manage technical SEO initiatives to enhance website performance, including addressing crawl errors, optimizing site speed, and ensuring mobile-friendliness.
- Implement schema markup and structured data to improve search engine understanding and visibility of website content.
- Utilize SEO analytics tools to monitor key metrics, track performance trends, and derive actionable insights for optimization.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements, addressing challenges, and recommending optimization strategies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for SEO-related communication with clients, providing updates on campaign progress, discussing strategy adjustments, and addressing client inquiries or concerns.
- Collaborate with account management teams to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded, and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, IT, and product development, to integrate SEO best practices into various aspects of the business.
- Ensure alignment of SEO strategies and initiatives with overarching business goals and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve excellence.
- Proficiency in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Certifications such as Google Analytics or Google Ads are a plus.
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in SEO, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful SEO strategies for clients in the advertising industry.
- Deep understanding of SEO principles, techniques, and best practices, with hands-on experience in keyword research, on-page optimization, technical SEO, and link building.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate SEO strategies, insights, and recommendations to clients and cross-functional teams.
