Job Description Senior .NET Developer
Experience Required: 10+ Years
Domain Preference: Insurance (nice to have)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
  
• Develop and maintain n-tier applications using .NET Framework, ASP.NET, MVC, C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET, Entity Framework, LINQ, and LINQ2SQL.
  
• Build and consume Web Services including SOAP and WCF Services.
  
• Work with Unit Testing frameworks (nUnit, xUnit, mSpec) to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Scrum/Agile methodology and tools like Jira.
  
• Handle database design, SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, and SSIS jobs.
  
• Participate in build and deployment processes ensuring smooth releases.
  
• Communicate effectively with US clients and internal stakeholders.
  

Technical Skills Required

• Core Technologies: ASP.NET, MVC, .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET
  
• ORM & Data Access: Entity Framework, LINQ, LINQ2SQL
  
• Frontend Skills: JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, AJAX, CSS, XML
  
• Web Services: SOAP, WCF Services, API Development
  
• Version Control: TFS (Team Foundation Server)
  
• Testing Frameworks: nUnit, xUnit, mSpec
  
• Database: SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, triggers, SSIS jobs)
  

Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge of Insurance Domain
  
• Experience with SSRS or Active Reports
  
• Familiarity with GitHub Copilot for AI-assisted coding
  

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and client interaction skills (especially with US clients)
  
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
