Job Description
- As a Java Full stack Developer at Orion Innovation, you will be responsible for building scalable web applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React. Your role will involve collaborating with teams, optimizing performance, and delivering robust solutions that meet business needs. You should be passionate about clean code, agile practices, and continuous learning. Key Responsibilities: - Develop a deep understanding of appropriate data & software components including conceptual data models, data flows, entity relationships, specifications, audit controls, exception and error handling, security, etc. - Maintain high quality software development standards to contribute to code quality. - Support technical design decisions through validation of technical approaches and prototyping of new concepts. - Assist team members to ensure successful sprint outcomes and address technical, security, delivery, and performance risks. - Promote DevOps culture and identify continuous improvements in the development practice. - Provide high-level design and technical solutions for new change requests and projects by understanding the existing processing architecture. - Collaborate with offshore teams for deliverables, including peer review, documentation, and installation. Key Skills/ Job specifications: - 4+ years of experience in Java, Full Stack Java, React, Microservices, APIs, CI/CD (Git, HELM, Jenkins, Ansible), Kubernetes (preferably on Azure). - Built scalable, resilient, and secure applications following microservices architecture. - Strong client-facing skills and experience in software development patterns, object-oriented design principles, and coding techniques. - Experience with cloud technologies such as Azure, OpenShift, AWS, and Docker. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical discipline or equivalent work experience. - 3 - 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and implementing software applications, especially at large institutions. Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in Agile Software Development methodologies including Scrum. - Snowflake development experience. - Practical experience with the end-to-end DevOps CI/CD pipeline using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven, Gitlab, and SonarQube. - Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
