Position: Contracts Manager

Job Description:

• - Reporting to the General Manager / Managing Director
• - Managing the Contracting Dept activities & profitability
• - Marketing of Contracting Services for maintenance work & industrial projects
• - Obtain invitation to tender for the said works
• - Estimating, reviewing terms & conditions & technical specification and submission of tenders
• - Strategise plans & negotiating contracts leading to successful awarding of orders
• - Overall management including planning, implementation, mobilization, project management and successful completion of contracts awarded
• - Implementing Project Control, Quality Control, Labour Resources and other systems required for site work
• - Managing all administration and commercial duties pertaining to the dept & related contracts

Requirements:

• - Candidate must possess a Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering, those with Diploma but with sufficient work experience in related work can also be considered
• - At least 5 years in tendering for projects & managing projects site work
• - Experience in thermal insulation, supervising piping works, equipment installation will be an added advantage
• - Able to communicate with all levels of clients and project team
• - Must be well versed with writing official correspondence on contractual matters, issues and reports
• - Willing to travel to all parts of Malaysia and to work beyond normal hours to meet deadlines on tender closing date
