Job Title: Snowflake Developer

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer to join our team on a contractual basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Snowflake data warehouse development, performance tuning, and SQL optimization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient data pipelines and ensure high-quality deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Snowflake-based data warehouses and pipelines.
• Design and implement scalable data models, ETL/ELT workflows, and integration solutions.
• Work on SQL query optimization and performance tuning for large datasets.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance best practices are followed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data workflows and architecture.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 57 years of experience as a Data Engineer/Developer with at least 3+ years in Snowflake.
• Strong SQL skills with proven experience in query optimization and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (Informatica, Talend, dbt, or similar).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services.
• Experience with data modelling, warehousing concepts, and BI integrations.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data pipelines.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to Python/Scala for data engineering workflows.
• Experience in working with streaming data or real-time integrations.
