Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Mobile App Quality Control Tester to ensure the delivery of high-quality Android and iOS applications. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing mobile apps, identifying bugs, validating functionalities, and ensuring optimal performance and user experience across devices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing of Android and iOS mobile applications.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, performance, and compatibility testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to reproduce and resolve bugs.
- Validate APIs and perform backend integration testing.
- Work closely with the development team to ensure timely releases with minimal issues.
- Provide clear documentation and reporting on testing outcomes.
- Continuously optimize testing strategies and improve test coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 36 years of experience in mobile app testing (Android & iOS).
- Hands-on experience with testing tools like Appium, Selenium, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and QA methodologies.
- Familiar with tools like Postman for API testing.
- Experience testing apps on real devices and emulators/simulators.
- Basic understanding of mobile app architecture and performance metrics.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and bug-reporting skills.
